We deal with an entire array of
Baluns and Ununs such as Balanced-to-Unbalanced and Unbalanced-to-Unbalanced Broadband Transformers. These broadband transformers find application in transmission line networks. The primary function of these Baluns and Ununs is to match the line impedances. For example, 120 ohm to 75 ohm, 300 ohm to 50 ohm or other such combination coaxial cable to UTP line, coax to coax and UTP to UTP coupling etc. Balun and unun are acronyms for Balance-to-Unbalance and Unbalance-to-Unbalance coupling. They are CITT recommendation G703 compliant.
